The present company is the result of a
merger in 1997 between JBA Engineering Ltd. and van Groll
Engineering, both Structural Engineering firms.
Both predecessor companies were founded in
1990 by Jonathan Atkins, B.Sc., B.Eng, P.Eng., and Raymond van
Groll, M.Sc.(Eng.), P.Eng, respectively.
The principals had
previous careers in the Engineering and Construction both in
Canada and the United States. All our senior company
members have Canadian and International construction experience.
To date, Atkins + Van Groll Inc. has
completed over 6000 projects.
The company is licensed to practice in
Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia
and works in Quebec with a Montreal Associate.
Atkins + Van Groll Inc. also carry on work, commenced by the predecessor
companies, on multiple projects in the Middle East and the
United States.
